What is CBD Oil?
CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring component of industrial hemp/cannabis, which medical research has found to help manage stress, anxiety, pain, inflammation, brain health, and many diseases, and is defined as "a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect" according to the US Government. CBD oil is a type of cannabis oil that contains significant amounts of cannabidiol (CBD).
Is standard hemp seed oil the same as CBD-rich hemp extract?
No. Standard hemp seed oil, which can be found at a grocery store, is a much different product than our hemp extracts (which are not made from the seed). Standard hemp seed oil is produced by cold pressing the seeds, whereas our hemp extract is an extraction made using the whole hemp plant itself. Hemp seed oil is considered to be a great nutritive food, but it doesn’t have the naturally occurring terpenes, cannabinoids, and other components that our hemp extracts contain.
What's the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?
The difference between Hemp and Marijuana is the level of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) contained within the plant. Both are classified as "Cannabis Sativa," but Hemp and Marijuana are distinct strains with a very different genetic profile. Industrial hemp has been bred to have a low THC profile compared to the marijuana form of Cannabis sativa, and higher concentrations of cannabidiol (CBD), which medical research has found to help manage stress, anxiety, pain, inflammation, brain health, and many diseases. The cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people who are seeking the health benefits from cannabis without the psychoactive profile (or the 'high' as some would call it).
Will I pass a drug test if I use CBD-rich hemp oil products?
According to Quest Diagnostics, "If the product contains only CBD and has had the THC removed, then an individual being tested would not be expected to test positive for marijuana or marijuana metabolite."
Using unusually large doses of a cannabinoid-rich hemp oil product (above 1000-2000mg of hemp oil daily) could test positive during the initial urinary screen. However, drug tests are geared toward identifying Δ9 THC, not CBD or other cannabinoids. If you use a CBD product that has a trace amount of Δ9 THC, the Δ9 THC could register on the drug test, but it’s highly unlikely.
Are hemp-derived cannabinoids such as CBD as good as ones from marijuana?

These hero ingredients work together naturally with the body’s Endocannabinoids System (ECS), which regulates functions like mood, sleep, appetite, pain, and immune response, to help keep your body balanced.
This product contains 25mg of Whole Plant Hemp Extract per serving (approximately one dropper full - 25 drops).
Directions
Acute:
Take one full dropper (approximately 25 drops or .5ml) two times per day.
Chronic or Maintenance:
Take 10 – 25 drops daily. Hold under tongue up to one minute, and swallow.
General use:
- Begin with a low dose especially if you have little or no experience with CBDs.
- Take a few small doses over the course of the day rather than one big dose.
- Use the same dose for several days. Observe the effects and, if necessary, adjust the amount.
- Don’t overdo it. “Less is more” is often the case with Hemp CBD oils.
- Consult your physician. Proceed cautiously, especially if you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse, mental illness, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
