Why CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring component of industrial hemp/cannabis, and is defined as “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect” according to the US Government. CBDs can be used to manage your overall physical and mental wellness by helping keep your body balanced.

Whole Hemp CBDs can help relieve headaches and chronic pain, give your body an all-natural boost of energy, and have even been known to lower levels of stress and anxiety. Studies have also shown that CBDs help the body reduce inflammation, which is a root cause for many disorders and ailments.

CBDs are able to produce such wonderful benefits by interacting with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS is a group of internal cannabinoid receptors located in the brain and throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems that play a significant role in keeping our bodies balanced through a process called homeostasis.

The activation of these cannabinoid receptors helps influence our body’s daily functions such as immune system regulation, memory processing, pain regulation, and motor control. Once the endocannabinoids have been used, metabolic enzymes break them down. When you add Whole Hemp CBDs to your body, they begin to bind with enzymes to increase the number of endocannabinoids in your system. This process will stop enzymes from breaking down all the anandamide (bliss molecule) within the endocannabinoids, therefore making more of it available for use by your cells. This is why CBD is a natural mood-lifter void of all psychoactive effects.

While your body can regulate the Endocannabinoid System all on its own, adding Whole Hemp CBDs simply makes it run more efficiently.

Unlike standard hemp seed oil, which can be found at a grocery store, CBD-rich whole hemp oil is an extraction of the hemp plant itself. Hemp seed oil is considered to be a great nutritive food, but it doesn’t have the naturally occurring terpenes, cannabinoids, and other components that whole hemp oil contains.
